POLITICAL PLATFORM

As mentioned before in theParty Info page, I am a Democrat and fully support the policies of the Democratic Party.

Sometimes, however my friends, one must regularly review one's standpoint and make progressive changes if needed. This is not "flipping" (as it is sometimes called) on issues, but reassessment.

Why must poverty continue, why must we continue to fight over religion and who can and who can't pray in schools? 'God Bless America' is spoken after each prominent speech and 'In God We Trust' is engraved in our currency, but we can not pray in our schools.

Politicians come and go, but our situation stays the same. Isn't this the time to reassess? I can tell you right now, I don't want to become another Representative in Washington, I want to be part of your solution.

CAMPAIGN PRINCIPLES

After debating Congress has passed the Health Care Bill and Obama has signed into law. This will benefit our District because about 19 percent of the residents are uninsured.



This is a victory for our District even if our Congressman voted no for us!
